I don’t get it. Do you have an article you can link us to?
Answer:I don’t know.
I really need to get involved in some clinical volunteering.
Answer:What is your standing?
Answer:76% of people have war campaign strategies compared to the 2% with battle plans. 93% of people cite random statistics with no source, and when pressed, only 26% of them can link to a loosely based article later. Still >50% of pre-meds have an 8 semester plan. I hope this answers your question. If you asked one.

Answer:trying to figure if I can take two graduate levels chemistry classes, linear algebra (which I heard is super easy), and having to prepare for the MCAT in January…
oh yeah while volunteering and having a part time job
Any input would be appreciated…

linear algebra is not super-easy, not sure where you heard that.
If you are talking about computational linear algebra (the one that engineers take) then yeah, it’s easy, because it’s pure applications based. But I assure you that linear algebra in the Math department isn’t easy. At least, it’s not easy at my school.

Oh and good luck with that. I doubt you’ll end up doing it all though.

If you’ve already taken Differential Equations, then you already know basic linear algebra. It’s all about understanding the matrix functions. IMO it’s easy.

Uh…okay, but taking diff. eq ==/== taking linear algebra - trust me. Just watch the MIT lecture series on both and compare. (they’re all on youtube

I didn’t say they were equal, I said you use basic Lin.Alg in DiffEQ…
Answer:I was thinking of dropping math, but I can’t…it’s recemended for my major (I think…I probably should make sure of it). I already took diffQ, and that was very easy. (Way easier than Multivariable for instance, I hated that class).
But I heard linear algebra should be like diffQ if not easier.
Well worst case scenario I’ll drop history… (sorry I don’t like history)

You’re setting yourself up for failure.
Answer:You’re setting yourself up for failure.
It feels like it…
you SDNers scare the living daylights out of me. I think spending so much time on this site is causing my migraine.
We’ll see I already know I am dropping history, it seems like linear algebra is next in line…
*sigh*
Answer:I’m not trying to scare you, the MCAT is just one of those things where you should attempt to minimize all distractions i.e. jobs, volunteering, classes, etc.
Answer:Bribe, violence and sex.
Answer:Linear Algebra should be much more theoretical and abstract than DiffEQ. When I took it the computational portion was easy, its all just matrix algebra for the most part. The difficulty is understanding the vocabulary and theory and being able to apply it to problems which use very abstract situations or terminology. Its not one of those math subjects where you can skip the "theory box" in the book.

my math prof (or all the math department at my school it seems) is ALL about theory and proofs and all that stuff that I probably forget once the final is over…it looks like it will be even worse for linear algebra.
Is it a time consuming class? as if I have to study a lot for it or idk do a lot of practice problems and such?

Which is exactly what I’m trying to say.
At my school there’s a computational course, and then an actual math/theory course. The math/theory course is naturally harder, whereas the computational course is for all the engineers who just need to know applied linear algebra.
Answer:Who is Napoleon Hill?
i’m wondering the same thing.
Answer:linear algebra is easy for lulcat, luls.
